Festival of thanksgiving, i.e., Pongal was celebrated by the Salesians along with the domestic staff on 15th January 2020. The celebration commenced with the actual cooking of Pongal in the morning, followed by Holy Mass, festive lunch and film in the afternoon. Anticipated Pongal celebration was also held in the school on 13 January. Debate was organized in the school on the theme, “Whose role is vital in shaping a better society? Parents – Teachers – Youth” to mark the celebration. Students and Staffs were divided into three groups and voiced their ideas vigorously in the public forum. Mr. T.S Anthonysmay, B.T staff was the judge for the debate. It was a wonderful moment to see our students arguing fluently and systematically. We could see many aspiring orators in our school.
