Freedom is a gift given by God to the humans. That’s why there is agitation if it is denied and celebration if it is given. Feast of Assumption of Mary is celebrated by the salesians and the salesian family members in a grand way because Mary, our mother is free from the clutches of humans and taken to heaven by God. Fr. Savari Muthu SDB, a missionary at Sicily, South Italy visited our institution and celebrated the feast day mass of Assumption on 15th August 2019. We also honored our Mother Mary and our Mother land India with an Academy consisting of different cultural programmes. Then in the morning, we hoisted the national flag and celebrated our freedom from British. Our NCC students and other Groups and movements made the day memorable with their March Past and other programmes. The PTA president, council members, school students, staff members participated in the celebration. Sweets were distributed to the students after the celebration.
